Madeline “Maddie” Brown, LGPC

Practicing Since 2023
Maddie is deeply committed to improving the lives of others and creating a space where healing can truly take place. She finds great honor in her role as a therapist and is dedicated to fostering a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to express themselves openly.
Recognizing that sharing our most intimate and vulnerable experiences is not easy, Maddie strives to ensure that every session is free of judgment and criticism. Her approach emphasizes compassion, authenticity, and deep respect for each client’s unique journey.
Maddie specializes in working with individuals who have experienced developmental, relational, generational, acute, chronic, and dissociative traumas, as well as those navigating various life transitions. She is also passionate about supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community. Her goal is to meet each client where they are in their healing process and to collaborate on goals that are realistic, meaningful, and aligned with their current phase of life.
She integrates several therapeutic approaches into her work, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Maddie also incorporates principles of positive psychology and mindfulness-based practices to support holistic growth and well-being.
Outside of the therapy room, Maddie enjoys cooking, gardening, horseback riding, and boating on the Chesapeake Bay. She’s an avid reader of fiction and loves tuning into podcasts—ranging from true crime to pop culture.
Maddie is licensed in the state of Maryland (Lic#: LGP15453) and practices under the supervision of Marie Celano, LCPC (License Number: LC5761).
