Keisha Young, LGPC

Practicing Since: 2024
Keisha Young graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She was inspired to become a counselor as she believes a strong, trustworthy client/therapist relationship is key to successful outcomes.
Keisha specializes in a person-centered approach, allowing individuals in her care to lead the conversation and make deliberate choices to support their healing. Because mental health affects every area of life – thoughts, feelings, and actions – there are times when people need help navigating challenges that can negatively impact their well-being. Keisha believes her role is to support individuals during difficult times and help them regain a healthy mindset.
Clients can expect a safe, comfortable atmosphere with Keisha, who fosters transparency and a nonjudgmental presence throughout treatment. Inspired by her large family, Keisha enjoys helping others by participating in church and community-related activities, such as food and clothing drives. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
Keisha Young is an LGPC (#LGP17286) under the clinical supervision of Jessica Ives, LCPC (#LC2578).
