Amy Vile, LGPC

Practicing Since: 2022

Amy’s goal is to provide an environment of sincerity, openness, warmth, and trust. She has a particular interest in seeing people as individuals and is interested in personality inventories.  She wants to partner with clients in self-discovery and self-confidence and prefers an atmosphere of discussion and engagement with room for creativity and gentle challenge.

Finding great value in exploring how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact with one another, Amy believes clients can find health and healing when they discover and develop natural strengths, take control of thinking, and generate confidence and resilience for navigating life and its transitions.

Amy and her husband enjoy watching their teen sons participate in school and community athletics. Amy’s perfect day would involve a Sunday crossword puzzle, logic puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and definitely an escape room. Other pastimes include playing with the family pug, enjoying desserts of all sorts, and listening to podcasts on humor, spirituality, and modern history.

Amy is licensed in the state of Maryland (License #LGP14461) and under the clinical supervision of Jessica Ives, LCPC, (Maryland license #LC2578).
