Diane Kegan, LMSW

Practicing Since: 2000

Diane partners with clients to determine strengths and target areas of concern to impact overall well-being. Through examining cognitive, behavioral, and communication patterns, she works with clients to apply evidence-based techniques and treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy that assist with coping strategies to support change.

Diane thinks the therapeutic process is a partnership to work on goals and facilitate change.  She assists clients with identifying strengths and emphasizing those strengths that can best be accessed for coping and improved well-being. She thinks this can best be accomplished through an understanding of the client’s own personal, familial, and cultural experiences to process concerns through a systems perspective and determine strategies that will address identified issues and determine a path toward enhanced well-being.

Diane is married and has 2 children.  Her hobbies include watching her kids’ activities, playing trivia, and reading.

Diane is licensed in the state of Maryland (Lic # 33301) and under the clinical supervision of Rob Basler (MD Lic# 10421).
