Ashley Seprodi, Master’s Level Clinical Intern

Practicing Since: 2022

Ashley feels it is of the utmost importance for each client to truly feel seen and heard as the unique individuals they are in a counseling setting. Her goal is to establish an environment that feels safe, warm, and inviting- meeting people exactly where they are in life. Ashley enjoys using a humanistic approach with clients, helping them identify and build on their own strengths and resources. She enjoys using techniques like motivational interviewing, solution-focused, psychodynamic and mindfulness to assist each client in meeting their goals.

Ashley believes that counseling is a gateway to self-discovery, as well as essential to unlocking the tools to problem-solve and live a more fulfilling life. She wants her clients to know they are not alone in the journey to improve their mental health and personal circumstances, even though committing to seeking help is difficult but worthwhile.

Having been trained in recognizing implicit bias by the Indianapolis Peace Learning Center, Ashley works to increase awareness about racial and ethnic disparities in healthcare and working to reduce them in her own community.

A wife and mother to wonderful children, in her spare time, Ashley enjoys antique and thrift shopping, reading fantasy or romance novels, and traveling the karaoke circuit. She loves to sing and be involved with local community theater programs.

Ashley Seprodi is under the clinical supervision of Steve Osterhout, LCSW-C, Maryland (#09328).
