Tejah Lee, LMSW

Practicing since: 2024

Tejah Lee graduated from Columbia University with a Master’s degree in Social Work. She was inspired to become a mental health counselor by her experience as a rehabilitation counselor for adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental health illnesses. Through that work, she developed a passion for working with people and helping them accomplish things they never believed possible.

Tejah is pursuing certification training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems. Her approach to treatment focuses on supporting clients through a multitude of life experiences and issues, including self-esteem, grief, trauma, boundaries, self-advocacy, and motivation. Through a foundation of safety and acceptance, Tejah places the highest value on empathy, compassion, cultural humility, and unconditional positive regard for all her clients.

Beyond accomplishing assigned treatment goals, Tejah wants all her clients to leave therapy with greater trust in themselves. Motivated by her childhood, Tejah helps clients learn and practice agency so they can take charge of their lives, regain direction, and find joy in the active process of living – not just surviving.

Tejah Lee, LMSW, is licensed in the state of Maryland (#31686) and under the clinical supervision of Krystle Tinsley, LCSW-C (#23134).
