Marissa provides a safe, warm, and nurturing atmosphere where clients are empowered to overcome life challenges.  She works collaboratively with clients by using a strengths-based eclectic approach, to foster growth and healing.

Marissa meets clients where they are with the understanding that starting therapy and seeking professional help can be scary. She values the importance of establishing a safe and warm environment for clients to share their thoughts and feelings.  She understands that mental health is influenced by mind, body and soul alignment.

In her free time, Marissa enjoys playing with her cat, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Marissa is licensed in the state of MD (Lic# 30181) and under the clinical supervision of Stephen Osterhout. LCSW-C (MD Lic# 09238).
