Tiffany adapts to the needs of each individual client and their presenting needs by utilizing techniques from cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based therapies, and some creative art/play interventions. Tiffany is flexible to meet the individual where they are at in that very moment. She utilizes active listening and motivational interviewing to better understand the individual and has a passion to assist individuals in building a toolbox of skills, new thoughts, and new behaviors to approach challenging situations and daily life confidently and with hope.
Tiffany worked as an intensive in-home clinician providing crisis therapeutic services to individuals and families of children and adolescents who were at risk of being removed from their current residential placement due to severe mental and emotional health concerns. She has also worked as the in-house Admissions and Discharge Coordinator/Clinician at a residential transition program serving adult individuals with Intellectual/Developmental and Mental Health Diagnoses who have experienced difficulty in identifying permanent residential placement.
Tiffany has been married for almost six years. Her husband is a United States Marine and they have two children and two dogs. She grew up in Virginia Beach, but have also lived in Boston and California. She enjoys traveling, discovering new hiking trails/parks, being outdoors in general, and taking trips back to the beach.
