“I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.” – Philippians 4:13

Sheena Royster earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Loyola University. Her passion for mental health counseling was shaped by her experience as a teacher, where she supported students facing challenging life circumstances and witnessed the profound impact those experiences had on their emotional well-being. Inspired by this work, Sheena pursued advanced training in mental health counseling to deepen her understanding and provide compassionate, meaningful support to those in need.

Sheena is a certified Qualified Mental Health Professional and integrates this expertise into her work with clients. She specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and their families through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Sheena partners closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen family dynamics, deepen understanding of each child’s unique needs, and foster environments that encourage resilience and growth. Her background in education further enhances her ability to collaborate effectively with schools and address academic, social, and behavioral concerns through a holistic, developmentally informed approach.

Clients can expect a supportive, collaborative environment where they feel heard, respected, and safe to explore their experiences. Sheena takes a compassionate, developmentally informed approach—particularly with children and adolescents—working alongside clients to build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop practical strategies tailored to their needs. Her goal is for each individual to feel understood, empowered, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.
