Mary Obiyo earned her Master’s degree as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from South College. She was drawn to the mental health field for its unique ability to blend science and empathy to create meaningful, lasting change in people’s lives. Supporting resilience, promoting holistic healing, and helping individuals rediscover a sense of hope and purpose are at the heart of Mary’s work.

Mary’s approach to treatment is person-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based. She prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. Through a safe and nonjudgmental environment, she helps clients develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and make meaningful progress toward their personal goals.

Clients will experience a supportive, inclusive, and goal-oriented environment where they feel safe to explore their experiences during treatment with Mary. She prioritizes building trust and collaboration, helping clients develop insight, learn practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change at their own pace. Guided by empathy, respect, and integrity, Mary believes that lasting change begins within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship—one where clients feel genuinely understood and empowered.
