Jindo Varghese, Masters Level Clinical Intern

Practicing Since: 2022

Jindo sees mental health counseling as a purposeful collaboration of the client and counselor. As the counselor, he will provide support, guidance, and care in a safe, non-judgmental environment where problems can be shared, and goals achieved. Some of the treatment modalities that Jindo uses are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused therapy, and Person-centered therapy. Having exposure to different cultures also enables him to be sensitive to values, beliefs, and world views that clients may bring into their session.

Currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health, Jindo and his wife moved to the US a few years ago from India. He enjoys trying different cuisines and going on adventure trips. Talking to people, listening to their stories, and helping them brings him great joy.

Jindo is under the supervision of Sanaa Mylan, LCPC, Maryland (LC9949).
