Holly Nott, Master’s Level Clinical Social Worker

Practicing since: 2025

“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.” – Dr. Brené Brown

Holly Nott is pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work from Lancaster Bible College. She is inspired by witnessing clients feel comfortable exploring their inner struggles and learning techniques that can help them manage difficult thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Holly values creating a supportive environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Holly uses a person-centered approach to treatment while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unwanted thought patterns and develop healthier behaviors. She also employs Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to integrate mindfulness and grounding techniques. By combining these approaches, Holly helps clients develop practical skills for navigating difficult emotions, managing stress, and responding to challenges in healthier ways.

Clients can expect to gain practical tools and knowledge to better understand what is happening internally and communicate their thoughts, feelings, and needs more effectively. Together, Holly and her clients can establish short- and long-term goals that provide direction throughout the therapeutic process and serve as valuable tools beyond treatment. Holly strives to help clients recognize their strengths and build confidence as they work toward lasting growth and meaningful change.

Holly Nott is under the clinical supervision of Mitchell Oakes, LCSW-C, licensed in the State of Maryland (#28127).
