“Therapy is not about fixing who you are; it is about discovering the strength that is already within you.” – Dalziel Leone

Boma Ehanire graduated from Walden University with a Master’s degree in Social Work. She was inspired to pursue a career in mental health to support individuals during difficult times and help them recognize strengths they may not yet see in themselves. For Boma, helping clients regain hope, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work.

Boma also holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education, which informs her emphasis on psychoeducation in therapy. She helps clients better understand their symptoms while learning practical, solution-focused strategies for addressing the challenges that bring them to therapy. Her primary therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She helps clients understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while equipping them with practical skills they can confidently apply in everyday life.

Clients can expect a safe, collaborative space where they can build resilience, develop practical coping skills, and move toward a life that reflects their values, not just their struggles. Boma’s goal is to create a supportive therapeutic relationship where clients feel empowered to make meaningful, lasting change.

Boma Ehanire, LCSW-C, is licensed in the state of Maryland (#29721).
